Instructor Biographies

Rev. Samantha BeatyReverend Samantha Harvey is the Head High Priestess and Founder of the Tradition of the Witches Circle, as well as the author of most of the course materials. Samantha is an amazing teacher.  She blends humor, common sense and just a touch of irreverence to incredible effect. Don't let the exterior fool you, though.  Samantha is incredibly serious about her spirituality and her education in Witchcraft is an ongoing passion of hers.  Always willing to pursue new topics and research any subject, her classes are consistently well thought-out, user friendly and soundly presented.

Samantha is also one of the most rare creatures within the Neopagan community—an organized Witch.  It was her drive and capability that brought the TWC from a simple class series to a certification-program school running in two different locations as well as online.  It's easy to see how Samantha has become an integral part of Virginia's Neopagan culture. She is an ordained Minister, Master Herbalist, Reiki Master and Spiritual Counselor. Samantha teaches the Tradition of the Witches Circle classes at her store 13 Magickal Moons in Occoquan , VA.

Samantha is a self-proclaimed Geekess and enjoys spending her time reading, solving puzzels, and killing zombies! Follow her Facebook, Blogger, Ask-A-Witch, or you can also follow her on Twitter; she is 13MMWitch.

Rev. Samantha BeatyReverend John Marani, AKA “JohnnieTwoBrows”, is the Head High Priest of Tradition of the Witches Circle, as well as the author of most of the Tarot/Astrology materials found in the TWC. John has been studying the tarot since 1989. He began his professional tarot practice in 2005, and is a Certified Tarot Consultant  from the Tarot Certification Board of America. John is also member of the American Tarot Association (ATA) as well as an ATA volunteer tarot mentor and a TCBA volunteer tarot certification tester.

John is a regular contributor to the ATA's Quarterly Journal, a publication for its members covering a wide range of tarot and tarot-related topics. John is also an ordained Minister with the Ministry of Light Interfaith Church in the Commonwealth of Virginia.

In his spare time, John is an amateur astrologer, Dungeon Master, and die-hard computer and console gamer. Follow these links to “friend” John on Facebook, Blogger, LinkedIn, or Psychic Faces.com. You can also follow John on Twitter; he is JohnMaraniTarot.
